Spiritual Growth

Jesus told Phillip in the 14th Chapter of John, “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father!” He could just as easily have said, “I have revealed to you all of His Names that you have seen in the Torah.”

Father in John 17, He noted “I have made Thy Name known to them and will make it known.”

What is He saying to them AND TO US TODAY?

I believe He is saying that He will work with men to continue to make known the Name of the Lord!! Praise God we get to be used in revealing Jesus and His Father to the World.

We have a GOOD shepherd! A shepherd who loves and cares for us, His people, His Sheep.

And not only do we have a good shepherd, we also have a good friend!

There is so much revealed in the Name of the LORD as He instructs us that He is OUR SHEPHERD!

In Ezekiel 48: 35, the prophet decrees that “the name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD IS THERE.” “From that day” indicates that this will be a forever name AND that the LORD will be EVER PRESENT in His temple. It denotes that the LORD will FOREVER be in His temple which He has created inside those who receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
