In the Book of Revelation, Jesus instructed John to “Come up here” so that he might see things to come from His perspective.
In this teaching, Minton uses God’s Word to commend this Body of Christ for their successes in His Work. But in Paul’s letters to the churches in Thessalonica and in Rome, he compels them to continue to increase in their love and faith and service.
Minton encourages them to “step out into the water” just as the priest did in crossing the flooded Jordan River and watch the Lord work on their behalf.
