If you want to see what the Holy Spirit does for us, look at what Jesus did for the disciples. He cared for every area of their life as He instructed, guided, provided for and served as an example of how to walk displaying the nature of the Father.
Holy Spirit will perform those same tasks for us as He reveals and glorifies Jesus.
In this study, we will examine the assignment of the Holy Spirit in our lives and see the works or manifestations of God that He brings to us.
The book of Revelation describes the Holy Spirit as having seven lamps, eyes and horns. In fact, Holy Spirit is described as seven spirits.
What might each of these refer to?
In this session, we will examine what Jesus told His disciples about the One who would be sent to them. We will see the work, or you might even say ministry, of the Holy Spirit not only in their lives but His role in our lives today.
Like the Father, Holy Spirit changes not.
What He did for Jesus, He will do for us.
Revealing, guiding and manifesting His power in us and through us for others.
Learn more about the One who should be our best friend while we are on this earth!
People read the Bible as a book and can quote portions of it eloquently. Yet many in the body of Christ today frequently lack the understanding of His Word, and as a result, the concept of walking in His wisdom remains a mystery.
Paul prays for us that we will have a spirit of wisdom and revelation in our position in Christ Jesus. Revelation from the Holy Spirit is key to understanding and walking in the Wisdom of God’s Word.
In this session, we will examine what the Word teaches us about acquiring and utilizing His Knowledge, Understanding and Wisdom.
We can walk in the wisdom of God.
How would you like to have someone who would consistently give you counsel that would lead you to glory while making your paths straight?
Isaiah attributed the name “Counselor” to Jesus. Jesus told His disciples that he was going to leave but would give them “another one,” which the words in Greek indicate another one just like me – a Counselor!!
That is who we have dwelling inside us – the Spirit of all counsel; the author of the Word of God. That is why Psalm 119: 24 tells us, “Thy testimonies also are my delight; They are my counselors.”
This final session will consist of a study on the Spirit of Might, the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord and on the Person of the Holy Spirit.
When we hear the word of the Lord (knowledge) and have an understanding of it revealed by His Spirit then His wisdom will instruct us what we are to do and when. His might is the “supernatural endowment of His power to act on that wisdom.” We have an unending supply of that power dwelling inside us.
Scripture tells us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. This should raise a question in our minds.
We will examine just a few of the many promises on walking in the fear of the Lord.
The session will conclude looking at the person of Holy Spirit. We’ll re-examine what Jesus said concerning Him and look at what else He makes available to the Body of Christ.
Holy Spirit, you are awesome in me!!
