Power That Makes Possible
What is it that you need the Lord to do or to provide?
Does it seem too big or that it is an impossibility?
The Word of God is clear; in our own power and strength such things are impossible yet with our God NO THING is impossible.
In this study, we will examine the vastness of His power with a strong focus on HIS POWER TOWARD US! Yes, we will see that His eye is on us and His desire is that His power works on our behalf! We are told that we must have FAITH IN both His Word and HIS POWER!
And better yet, we have the opportunity to be CLOTHED WITH HIS POWER! This is the Good News of His Gospel!
In Numbers 23 the Lord questions Moses, “Is the LORD’s power limited (NASB)?” Literally, this is saying has “the LORD’s arm been shortened?” The Complete Jewish Bible says, “Has Adonai’s arm grown short?”
It is as if the Lord is asking Moses “Have I and the use of my power changed?” Unfortunately, that is a question that is often asked by believers today.
Does God still…
But the prophet Jeremiah declares, “Ah Lord God… There is nothing too difficult for Thee!” And the same is equally true today.
But the best news is that the Lord desires to show His power on our behalf, TODAY! This has been His desire from creation onward! See with us today the GOOD NEWS that the Lord is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow! His power and His desire to bless us have remained the same.
Ecclesiastes 8: 4 instructs us “Where the word of a king is, there is power; (NKJ).”
We are told by Paul that our faith is not to be in the wisdom of man but in the POWER of God! He also says that Jesus is to us both WISDOM and POWER!
Learn with us the POWER of the VOICE of GOD as we see that Jesus walked as a man in that same power, speaking God’s Word with Power.
Is this how we too are to live?
Has God ever placed His power in a man? Certainly, He did in Jesus! Yet many believe that Jesus already had and kept His power as He had in heaven.
In this study, we will see that God actually anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit AND with power! Was this really necessary?
In this study, we will see why God anointed Jesus and that as a man Jesus walked in the full power of God. And it was manifested for the benefit of people!
What is the devil’s worst nightmare? Consider what he saw after Jesus was raised from the dead.
- Believers being born from above and filled with the Holy Spirit.
- The anointing that was on Jesus resided on each of these believers.
- Now there are MANY, MANY, MANY just like Jesus.
Learn with us how we have been anointed and endued with power to perform all that Jesus said about us. You and I should be the devil’s worst nightmare!
Let us grow together in this teaching as we fulfill our mandate as the Body of Christ in the earth today. Anointed ones, just like our Lord and Savior!
In John 14, Jesus says directly that we who believe in Him “shall do the works that I do.” How can that possibly be the case?
When we examine scripture, we see that the word says it is through the power of God flowing through us! Concerning the apostles, we repeatedly see, “God had worked through them” or “God worked miracles by the hands of.”
Let the Holy Spirit teach us how His power flows through us; like Jesus describing “rivers of living water” flowing from our innermost being!
In the 5th Chapter of Mark, we see an account of a woman who was suffering and heard of Jesus! This hearing about Him caused a change in her life, one which led to her life! A change that Jesus noted created FAITH that enabled power to flow for her healing!
How do we hear such that we too receive such faith?
Learn in this session how we position ourselves to hear and see our faith increase! Faith that leads to the flow of His power!
Have you experienced a time when you really thought you were in faith, but the miracle you needed didn’t come? This can be a tough issue for many.
WHOSE SIDE DO WE STAND ON?
Am I to think my faith is stronger than God’s faithfulness?
This session will help us understand His process for receiving our miracle as we learn we can’t just start doing. It begins as we hear from the Lord!
We have seen previously that when hearing a RHEMA word from the Lord, we can have confidence that “FAITH COMETH.” But do you realize that more comes with it! It is the beginning of a Kingdom Process by which we receive from God.
We’ll learn together how hearing from God sets in motion a process whereby peace, joy and faith lead us to receive as we act on His Word.
Have you ever felt as if you were at the end of your rope? That you just couldn’t go on? Paul did; he said that he felt as if he had “the sentence” of death! But Paul did not quit nor give in!
In fact, he just declared that “in his weakness, he was strong.” How could this be?
That same power is available to you and me TODAY!
Do you realize that Jesus has given you an invitation to come close, or as the Word says, “draw close”? His heart yearns for you to fellowship closely with Him! Yet many seem content to let others draw close and then tell them what they need to do!
If you are around a fire and still feel too cold, what might you do?
That is a great physical example of what the Lord wants us to do with Him today!! If we have FAITH IN THE POWER, then we should want to be as close to the source of that power as possible.
