Giving Thanks and _______

We are taught that our walk of faith should be accompanied by an abundance of thanksgiving.

Why would the Lord instruct us to do such?  Is it just for His benefit or is there some benefit for us?

Everything that the Lord instructs us to do is to bring glory to Him and to have us increase in His Kingdom.

There is no end to the increase of His Kingdom, and in us, His Kingdom resides!
