Loves Me Just Like Jesus?
What is your perspective of the nature of God? Most importantly, how do you view His attitude toward you?
Your perspective of your Heavenly Father will impact every aspect of your relationship with Him, or lack thereof.
- Do you see Him as one who loves you dearly and desires fellowship with you?
- Or does He grudgingly pay attention to you?
- Or worse, does He even care about you?
Jesus prays to our Father, “that we (you and I) will know that the Father loves us just as He loves Me.” John 17: 23
Earlier Jesus tell us “Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love.” John 15: 9
We need to speak these words to ourselves, “God loves ME just like He loves Jesus” and “Jesus loves me just like His Father loves Him.”
Ponder those words today. Let them be at the forefront of your thoughts for the next several days. Your perspective of His attitude toward you will begin to change.
