Too often, much is attributed to our Father as being the source of an act that kills, steals or destroys when the truth is, He was not even in it. This happens when we don’t understand why some of these events take place.
In this study, we will let the Holy Spirit show us what the Word teaches concerning such events.
It will include the following:
How we can know if God was in it
The impact of living in a cursed world
The impact of choices we make as an individual or as a na
The enemy of our soul labors diligently to separate us from the truth of God’s Word. he constantly plants seeds of doubt wanting us to believe that God is dictating all that happens in our lives.
We need to agree with the Word and settle this issue.
Our God is GOOD, ALL THE TIME, and He is GOOD TO ME.
Never cross this line…stay on God’s side.
Did Adam and Eve have a choice to partake of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Did Elisha have a choice to keep his eyes on Elijah as he was taken up to the heavenlies?
Do you have a choice on whether you accept the work of the cross in your life?
Our choices matter and we are strongly encouraged to always choose life!
The Holy Spirit is a gentleman. he encourages and draws, but He never forces man in a certain direction. If you perceive any pressure to act or respond in a certain manner, you can be sure it is not our good and gracious Father.
It is your choice!
What is God’s role in the new Covenant related to judgment, condemnation and punishment? It is different today than it was in the Old Covenant. If so, why did it change?
See the heart of God displayed in the words and actions of His Son.
Father, Thank you for the cross!
When something happens and we don’t understand, do we ask immediately, “Lord, why did you do this?”
Elijah encountered damaging wind, an earthquake and fire; and the Lord was not in any of the. Yet Moses encountered the burning bush and the Lord was in it.
We need to know what was the Lord’s part and what was man’s part.
Seek His wisdom and stay on His side.
What does this really mean and imply? An endorsement? Disinterest? Or is it something that we allowed?
Did God give men a free will and a choice?
He does and He allows us to make that choice. Praise God for that? We’ve been given authority and it is time to act in it!
