Issues with my heart began in September 1997 when I had two stints implanted. But because my heart stopped beating while in the hospital, I also left with a pacemaker in my chest. Since that time, the pacemaker has been replaced 3 times and I’ve also undergone a five-bypass operation.
It was assumed that I would be “pacemaker dependent” for the rest of my life.
In 2018, issues were beginning to surface once again. It was not blockages but a weakening of my heart muscle. All of this indicated I would need a pacemaker/defibrillator combination device. My cardiologist prescribed a new cutting-edge medication in hopes of strengthening my heart muscle and avoiding a defibrillator. A long shot!
While waiting to give this medicine time to work, out of the blue, my pacemaker broke through the skin creating the danger of infection going to my heart. I was immediately admitted to the hospital to remove both the pacemaker and the leads which were embedded, after being in my body for 21 years.
This surgery was done after days of heavy antibiotics. Because of the infection, the new device could not be installed during the same surgery. I remained in the hospital with my heart being monitored with external devices during this time, continuing treatment for infection.
My wife was in contact with Patricia Dudley and Minton Williams who were checking on me. While she was talking with Minton, he asked, “What can you believe for?” She replied, “No pacemaker!” That afternoon he and Patricia came to the hospital and prayed for me – no pacemaker and total restoration of my heart.
Surgery was scheduled for the next morning but delayed when something was seen on an x-ray of my heart–nothing serious but necessitating an important delay. My doctors decided to send me home on the 12th day with more antibiotics but with no pacemaker. The plan was to put it back in later. Also, the hope to avoid a defibrillator was realized because my heart muscle strength almost doubled.
I saw my cardiologist a few weeks later. I asked about the pacemaker and he said, “I don’t see a reason to install a new one.” I asked him if this is a miracle and he replied, “You can say that!”
We do call it a miracle! No pacemaker and no defibrillator. Give God time.
James 4:2 says, “You have not because you ask not.” We are so grateful! “To God be the glory for the things He has done!”

Minton Williams has a healing and teaching anointing that I have witnessed with others and in my own case:
I am 70 years old and have been playing guitar, singing and leading worship for decades. However, arthritis developed in my hands to the degree that I could no longer play. One voice said, “well that’s what happens when you get old- kiss it off-your guitar playing days are over.” However, when you spend time with Minton Williams as he teaches the word, he reminds us in every way that God means to prosper me and not harm me (notice I say me) to give me a future and a hope. Minton is relentless in teaching us the love of God and his desire to heal, teaching us to expect that God WILL heal and help-that this is the norm and not the exception.
So following the teachings comes the prayer, the laying on of hands and the proclaiming that my hands will work and I will play my guitar again…over and over again until, little by little, steadily my dexterity returned, the pain receded. And today I not only am playing again but I am also playing my twelve-string guitar, which any guitarist can tell you, requires more hand strength and precision than the normal six-string. Hallelujah!
I believe that we all have the power to pray for those who are sick and that we will see healings, but I also know there are some whose gifting is stronger and more consistent in various areas and Minton is one of these people. But be prepared for his question: “Ned, do you think God can heal you? Do you think He wants to heal you?” Yes, and Yes!

After months of physical symptoms including an irregular heartbeat, fatigue, vertigo, and other symptoms, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. The doctor told me I needed to be on medication for the rest of my life. I felt I had been given a life sentence!
I had been attending Healing School at High Point Church for some time where Minton teaches healing with the Pastors of the church. I learned truth from the Word on healing and the teachings infused my spirit with faith and gave me hope. I also witnessed several healings and believed God would do the same for me.
I asked Brother Minton to pray for my thyroid. As he prayed, I believe I received my healing at that moment. I began to improve and at my three-month follow-up, the doctor told me my thyroid levels were absolutely normal. The doctor assumed the medication had done its job but I was able to testify that I took no medication and the healing was the work of The Great Physician! To God be the glory for my miracle!

In 2014, I was invited to attend a Men’s Prayer group which met early each Monday morning. As I introduced myself, I commented to the group that I was legally blind, could not read my Bible and certainly not drive. As the meeting was concluding, Minton asked me if he and the other men could pray for my healing. Minton prayed for me and the others laid hands on me as well.
Today, in 2019 my eyesight has improved to the point that I am now seeing well enough with glasses to read my Bible and I am also able to drive once again. My eye doctor tells me that it must be the work of God as what he was doing would never have caused this reversal.
I thank God for what He has done in my life.
