The Impact of Praise

For many people, praise, thanksgiving and worship are never offered until some event has occurred which merits such actions.  To offer praise when a person doesn’t feel like it would be unthinkable.  It is limited to a response we have when something goes well.

In truth, the Word says that such praise, thanksgiving and worship is powerful, and it will impact circumstances and causes things to change.  It will cause the devil to depart from us, it edifies us and strengthens our faith, and it pleases our God.  We praise Him for who He is and not just for what He does.

At all times His praise is to be in our mouth!

In this study, you will first see the importance of praise in His Kingdom and how it stills the avenger.  Next we will examine the impact that praise has on me and for me.  And then look at how our Father responds to our praise and worship.

We will conclude by examining scripture and looking in depth at seven Hebrew words for praise and worship to fully appreciate how we are to worship and live in the benefits of this powerful force.
