That same confidence and trust are key to us as life’s storms come. The confidence is not in ourselves, but toward Jesus and His promises.

This can be when battles are won or lost. When the bad news comes or symptoms appear, are you able to be kept in His peace with confidence? His peace is not the absence of conflict but confident trust in His deliverance.
How do you respond when a bad report suddenly appears?
In our covenant, sealed with the blood of Jesus, that same promise is yours.
The Word of God instructs us to imitate Jesus.
What did He do as a storm presented itself?
He simply spoke to it. He is our model. We speak His Word and He watches over it to perform it.
I was talking to my young granddaughter one day about having trust in God. I reminded her of a recent time of swimming when her dad told her, “Jump into the pool and I will catch you.” I was surprised at her wisdom on the matter. She said, “The only time he didn’t catch me was when I was too scared to jump.”
We can be confident in Jesus. No fear. He is worthy of our trust.
